FENWICK

Academic Counseling

At Fenwick, our school counselors are dedicated to helping students thrive academically. Whether meeting one-on-one with students, collaborating with parents, or consulting with faculty, counselors work tirelessly to ensure that each student is performing well, meeting expectations, and placed in the appropriate academic level.

They keep a close eye on grades and provide practical strategies for improvement—like time management tips, study techniques, and personalized guidance to help students stay on track and succeed throughout high school.

One of the unique strengths of our counseling program is the continuity of support. Students are paired with the same counselor from the moment they enter Fenwick until graduation, allowing counselors to build strong, lasting relationships and gain a deep understanding of each student’s strengths, challenges, and aspirations. This consistency helps counselors offer tailored advice when selecting courses that align with individual interests and abilities.

Our counselors take a collaborative approach by working closely with students, parents, and faculty to make informed decisions about course levels and sequences. The goal is to help students set and achieve personal academic goals while preparing for future opportunities.
