FENWICK

College Counseling

At Fenwick, college planning spans all 4 years. Students learn how to use Naviance to explore their options and find the right college fit. During Junior year, students are enrolled in the semester-long College and Career Seminar Course. This course, taught by Fenwick school and college counselors, focuses on all aspects of the postsecondary search and application process.

Because our counselors work with the same students all four years, they provide individualized and practical advice on:

  • Standardized test registration.

  • Building a balanced college list.

  • Preparing applications and writing strong college essays.

  • Acing interviews and making final college decisions.

  • Identifying post-secondary options that align with students’ interests and values.

The School and College Counseling Department works throughout the year to support students and families by hosting events like Financial Aid Nights, inviting college representatives to campus, guiding student-athletes through the NCAA Clearinghouse process, and a career speaker series to help students explore potential paths.
