Relationship
Consisting of four dedicated school counselors and an administrative assistant, the Fenwick Counseling Department is all about relationships.
From the moment students enter Fenwick, they’re paired with a specific counselor who will support them all the way through graduation. This continuity helps build strong, personal relationships and is foundational in helping students unlock their unique potential and achieve their educational and career goals.
School counselors are also available to meet with students who, for whatever reason, are struggling with personal/social issues that are interfering with their learning and their thriving in the high school environment. In the case where a student needs more ongoing therapeutic support, counselors will refer appropriately to outside agencies. School counselors are also available to consult with parents and respect the confidentiality of their relationships.
Whether it’s exploring the path to higher education, boosting academic performance, working through personal challenges, or dealing with daily stress with the help of Mogul our Comfort Dog, the team is dedicated to helping each student successfully navigate high school and prepare for their future.
Our counselors focus on the whole student—intellectual, emotional, physical, social, and personal growth. They encourage students to take responsibility, reach their full potential, get involved in the community, and prepare for future success.
